Guaranteed placement, and what that word means
You pick the outlets from a directory that shows each one’s traffic, authority, link type and price. The placement runs, or the item refunds. That is the whole guarantee, and it is a real one.
Can media placement be guaranteed?
Paid placement on a specific named outlet can be guaranteed, because the outlet has agreed in advance to publish and the fee is refunded if it does not run. Earned editorial coverage cannot be guaranteed by anyone, because an independent journalist decides whether to write. Any provider guaranteeing coverage in a publication that does not sell placement is describing paid placement without saying so.
Every outlet in the directory shows whether the post carries a sponsored label and whether the link is dofollow, because those two facts determine most of what a placement is worth and almost every seller obscures them.
What you are actually choosing between
- Domain rating — the authority the placement borrows
- Monthly traffic — real readership, which does not always track authority
- Link type — dofollow, nofollow, or no link at all
- Sponsored label — whether the article is marked as paid
- Google News indexing — whether it surfaces in news results
- Permanence — whether the article stays up indefinitely
- Turnaround — standard queue, or express at a premium
How a placement order runs
- 1
Pick the outlets
From the public directory, with every metric and price visible before you create an account. Select one or twenty; they go in a single order.
- 2
Server-side repricing
The total is recalculated on our side at checkout from the live directory, so a stale page or an edited cart cannot change the price.
- 3
We write it
Writing is included in the outlet price rather than being a separate line. You approve before anything is submitted.
- 4
Submission and publication
Each outlet is submitted separately, and each item in the order is held and released separately.
- 5
Proof
The live article URL releases that item. An outlet that rejects the piece refunds that item in full, without affecting the others.
The specifics
- Priced
- Per outlet, published in the directory before you sign up
- Writing
- Included in the outlet price
- Escrow
- Per item. One rejected outlet does not hold up the rest
- Counts as delivered
- The live article URL on the named outlet
- If it does not run
- That item refunds in full
What we will not claim
- Genuine editorial coverage cannot be guaranteed by anybody. A journalist decides what to write, and a provider promising earned placement is either selling paid placement under a different name or lying outright.
- A paid placement will not establish Wikipedia notability or carry much weight with a verification reviewer. Those tests are specifically designed to discount bought coverage.
- We will not quietly place a sponsored-labelled nofollow article and let you believe it was editorial. The label and the link type are on the outlet page before you buy.
- Outlets change their policies. Where one changes between order and publication, we tell you and refund rather than substituting silently.
